I've joined TCF via the summer programme designed to give young supporters an opportunity to interact with like-minded, compassionate, and altruistic people during this journey and learn the joy of giving back to society.

Pakistan is currently facing an education crisis, with 26.2 million children out of school—more than half of whom are girls. The Citizens Foundation (TCF), a professionally managed non-profit, is working to change that. TCF builds and operates formal schools in urban slums and rural areas across Pakistan, creating opportunities for children who were once denied access to education.

With 2,033 school units, an enrolment of 301,000 deserving students, and an all-female faculty of 14,700 teachers and principals, TCF is not only one of the largest networks of independently run schools in the world—as noted by The Economist—but also the largest private employer of women in the country.
