Did you know 39% of Pakistan’s children are out of school - that’s approximately 26.2 million children who lack basic education, which is every child’s right.

Hello, our names are Amal and Zaid Hameed, two siblings with Pakistani origin currently living in Dubai. This is a privilege we take for granted every single day, with access to quality education and a safe environment here in the UAE.

We are working alongside The Citizens Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded in 1995, that is determined to give access to education for underprivileged children in Pakistan and to bring impactful social change across the nation. Now, 30 years later, TCF is one of Pakistan’s dominant organisations in the sector of offering formal education to underprivileged youth. TCF has a network of 2,033 school units across Pakistan.

Our support goes to TCF in its project to sponsor one of its primary schools - Cowasjee Campus in Kiamari town, Karachi.

This summer, we are participating in the TCF Ambassadors of Change Programme by vouching for educational rights for these children across Pakistan. With your help, we aim to raise funds to support TCF's school project in Karachi.

We are looking to you to help us support the school for over a month by raising AED 10,000. If you wish, your contribution could be counted as zakaat or sadaqah on your behalf.

Now it raises the question: WHY should you do it? Well, 3 in 10 children are studying at a grade level below their age, and 4 in 10 children aren’t even enrolled in a school. Every child has a dream, and by supporting their needs, you are not only fueling their aspirations but also creating a better future for us all. Children are our future.

Just think, only recently, five intelligent alumni from TCF-sponsored schools have graduated Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute - a renowned university in Pakistan. This is just a precedent of how powerful your donation can be. Your donation, no matter how small, improves the lives of every student and their future generations.
