Hi, I’m Daniyal Khan, a Year 9 student at Jumeirah College in Dubai. This summer, I’m proud to be part of a fundraising campaign to support The Citizens Foundation (TCF)—a non-profit organization bringing quality education to underserved children in Pakistan.

I’m personally motivated to do this because I believe every child deserves the same chance at education that I’ve been lucky to receive. Education has opened so many doors for me, and I want to help open those same doors for children who have fewer opportunities. This cause is close to my heart, and I’m passionate about using my time and voice to make a real impact.

Pakistan is currently facing a severe education crisis, with 26.2 million children out of school, and more than half of them are girls. TCF is working to change that. TCF runs 2,033 school units across Pakistan, offering hope and opportunity where there was none before. With an all-female faculty of 14,700 teachers and principals, and an enrolment of 301,000 students, TCF is empowering communities through education.

By supporting this campaign, you’ll be helping to support classrooms, train teachers, and most importantly—give a child a chance at a brighter future. All it takes to even  support just one child for a month is 50 AED but my goal is to at least support one whole class for a year to make a real impact.
