My name is Arisha Abdullah and I am 15 years old. This summer I am participating in TCF Ambassadors of Change Program in which my objective is to raise 5000 dirhams for 100 students to get educated for a month. This is because Every child’s education is important every small contribution counts.
This is my second time raising money for education as education is a key component some of us take for granted. I had learned about situations in Pakistan where kids couldn’T go to school and wanted to see if I could make a difference.
Pakistan is in the midst of an education crisis with 26.2 million children out of school, more than half of whom are girls.
The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is a professionally managed non-profit organization that builds and operates formal schools in the urban slums and rural areas of Pakistan. The Economist has called The Citizens Foundation (TCF) "perhaps the largest network of independently run schools in the world." TCF has 2,033 school units across Pakistan where children were previously out of school. The Foundation is the largest private employer of women in Pakistan with an all-female faculty of 14,700 teachers and principals. Currently, TCF has an enrolment of 301,000 deserving students.
Join TCF in empowering deserving children with education.
Together, let's bring them to school.
