My name is Haadiya Muhammad Umair Amin. I’m 11 years old and currently in Year 7 at Al Salam Private School in Dubai.
Throughout my life, I’ve been blessed with excellent learning opportunities — and I want to help children in Pakistan enjoy the same gift of education.
Pakistan faces a severe learning crisis: 26.2 million children are out of school, either due to lack of access or poor-quality education. But every child deserves the chance to learn, dream, and thrive.
That’s where The Citizens Foundation (TCF) comes in. TCF builds and operates formal schools in Pakistan’s urban slums and rural villages. Today, it runs 2,033 school units, serving over 301,000 students, and employs 14,700 all-female teachers and principals — making it the country’s largest private employer of women.
This summer, I’m proud to join the TCF Ambassadors of Change program through my campaign “Transforming Lives: Education & Fundraising with The Citizens Foundation.” To raise awareness and funds, I’ve created a series of illustrated animal stories called Soulful Stories for Smarter Tomorrows, which explore emotions, empathy, and kindness — while highlighting TCF’s inspiring mission.
As a token of appreciation, I’ll be sharing a digital copy of a story with every donation — or you’re welcome to donate simply to support the cause if my storytelling makes you smile!
I’ve set a goal to raise AED 2,000 this summer through my verified campaign on YallaGive, an approved fundraising platform in the UAE: https://yallagive.com/en/campaign/Soulful-Stories-for-Smarter-Tomorrows-26772.
Just AED 50 can educate a child for a month, and AED 600 for an entire year. Please donate whatever you can — no amount is too small to spark change.
Together, we can open classroom doors, turn small dreams into big realities, and build a brighter Pakistan, one child at a time.
Thank you for being a champion of change!
