My name is Umar Atif, I am 14 years old and attend the International School of Creative Science in Dubai. Having grown up living in the UAE in a financially well-off family, I have been fortunate enough to have access to excellent education. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for millions of kids in Pakistan.

Today Pakistan is going through an education crisis, with over 26 million children out of school, not because they lack ability, but because they lack access and opportunities. Every single child deserves a quality education and a chance to pursue their dreams.

This summer I have joined the Ambassadors of Change Program, at The Citizens Foundation, a non-profit organization that builds and operates formal schools in the urban slums and rural areas of Pakistan.TCF has 2,033 school across Pakistan where children were previously out of school. The Foundation is the largest private employer of women in Pakistan with an all-female staff of 14,700 teachers and principals. Today, TCF has an enrollment of 301,000 students, with many of whom are the first in many generations, of their families, to go to school

My goal, is to raise 6000 AED, to provide a complete year of education for 10 students in Pakistan, at the cowasjee campus in sindh and Saharay Campus III in balochistan.. The campaign is being conducted with an official IACAD permit, with all donations going straight through this website

Every AED 100 donated, provides 2 children with a month of education. AED 600 supports a full year of education for a single child. And AED 6000 helps change the lives of 10 children for a year.

Thousands of children wake every morning not to got to school, but rather to work in fields, factories or on the streets to make hardly enough money to wake up the next day. Your donation, no matter how small, could be the reason a child sits in a classroom, rather than sitting on the side of the road.
