Help us bring hope and opportunity to children in Malawi!

Hi, I’m Hannah. Let’s get one thing straight—I am not a runner and I do not enjoy running (being short makes it feel like I’m a hamster on a wheel trying to cross a room). But with all the hype around #runclubs lately, my brain decided to whisper, “You can’t run 21km.” And just like that, I had to prove it wrong. So I joined the craze and embraced the half marathon challenge.

Meet Josh, my younger brother, long legs and does quite a bit of running. Josh is conveniently coming out to visit Dubai and I said, "why don't you come a day earlier so you can support me do this half marathon?" and Josh said " why don't I come a day earlier, and run it with you?". Josh arrives at 1am, the race is at 6am - at least this may force him to run at my pace.

But this run isn’t just about proving something to myself. It’s about making a real difference. We're running for The Sparkle Foundation, a charity I’ve volunteered with and admire deeply. Founded by the amazing Sarah Brook, Sparkle creates lasting change for children in Malawi by providing access to education, healthcare, and community support. Their work is transformative, and I couldn’t think of a better reason to lace up my running shoes.
